This chip set will allow you to upgrade your Kurzweil K2000 to the latest firmware OS version, v3.87.
Determine your hardware version before purchase - K2000s come in 2 slightly different hardware versions: Calvin or Janice. Calvin boards require Calvin EPROMs and Janice boards require Janice EPROMs. To determine which version you have, start up your K2000 and look for the current OS version. If the version number has a "J" at the end, you have a Janice. If it's just a number with no J at the end, you have Calvin. You can also determine Calvin vs Janice by some minor hardware differences in the boards or by the stickers on your current EPROMs. See pics or message me with any questions.
